You don’t need the D60. If you’re going to upgrade from the D40 (which is apparently a camera that can outperform some of the higher ranking models) then go for the D90.
Can anybody tell me if it’s safe to use a digital camera in a high humidity atmosphere such as a hot house, or other tropical habitat – real or simulated.Much appreciated
i don’t believe any of the digital cameras will get superior untill the sensors match the size of 35mm
actually if u do some research d40 is supposed to outpeform alot of top range cameras in picture quality even though it shouldnt..also the flash sync is much faster
I knew them allready, but thanks.
you can’t see the difference between good photos of the D40(x) or the D60. It depents on the taker of the photos. But the D60 has some new stuff like sensorcleaning, more Mp, 3fps etc.
here are the differences between D40 and D60 EXPEED processing * Image sensor cleaning system with Airflow control system * Atomatically rotating user interface (for using camera vertically orientated) * Stop motion movie function * New stabilized kit lens (AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR) * Eye sensor * Electronic ‘rangefinder’ for manual focus * Active D-Lighting with dedicated button * In-camera Raw processing * New JPEG retouch effects (Cross Star andColor Intensifier) -1ox 2 google
It’s really not worth upgrading to the D60 from the D40. You’d be better off holding off and getting a D80, D90 or better.
